Pony Days & Competitions:

During the school holidays we hold ‘Own a Pony Days’ for children, which includes instruction on grooming, tacking up, riding and lots of general knowledge.

There are also Dressage Competitions, Jumping Courses & Gymkhana  Days with lead rein classes for the children to enjoy when they have reached the required standard.  Parents are encouraged to become involved if they wish.

The ‘Loan a Pony’ system has also proved popular. It is sometimes possible to loan a favourite pony on a weekly basis.  If you would like more details on how this system works, Sharon or Bridget would be glad to help.

We organise regular Dressage & Jumping Competitions  for Adults throughout the year, but the emphasis is on fun and enthusiasm and so we encourage our less experienced equestrians to take part.

Each year, the annual University Riding Club competition day, involving three National University Teams including Cambridge, takes place at Hill Top.  The teams compete in Dressage and Show Jumping and spectators are very welcome.
